Our Trucks
EMC’s fleet consists of approx. 55 vehicles.
These range from cars used by our sales and management staff,
pick up trucks used by our outside service personnel and drivers
for small local pick ups and deliveries, one ton trucks with
a 5000 lb. capacity, single axle flat bed trucks with a 10,000
lb. capacity, tandem axle trucks with a 25,000 lb. capacity
and our lowboy that can haul a permitted load of up to 70,000
lbs.
At EMC we provide State-of-the-Art Transport
Two of our one-ton trucks have a boom with a capacity of 2,500
lbs. for loading or unloading motors when a forklift or overhead
crane is not available. Our tandem axle trucks and lowboy are
specially equipped to facilitate the hauling of vertical motors,
allowing the shaft to extend into the bed and the motor to
sit flat on the truck, creating a safer and more stable ride.
These trucks also have air ride suspensions. Our outside service
department also has a fully equipped 26’ trailer for
onsite work, including removal and reinstallations, as well
as turnkey jobs. Our switchgear department also has a trailer
for transporting test equipment to onsite outages, as well
as transporting circuit breakers. We have an additional fully
equipped trailer specifically for in place cleaning jobs.

we are only a phone call away 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
