EMC Nuclear Services Department
Chesapeake, Virginia

The Nuclear Repair Building built in 2010 is located right next door to our corporate headquarters. This location offers over 22,000 sq. ft. with 60 ton lifting capacity and 50 ft. under the hook height.
EMC is fully licensed at our new facility to provide contaminated repair services on pumps, reactor coolant and reactor recirculation pump motors.

EMC Engineering Services Department

The Engineering Services Department is located right next door to our Nuclear Department. This location includes our inside-Sales/Engineering staff, our outside field service staff and our Power Distribution Services Department where all switchgear repairs, calibration, recondition and testing is done. Also our storage area for new motors and controls inventory. This facility has over 12,000 sq. ft.

EMC Pump Repair/Sales Facility

Our new Pump Repair Facility is located directly behind our corporate headquarters. This new location includes our outside Sales & Techincal Support staff, as well as our world class Pump Repair Facility. All Chesapeake properties are adjoining.

EMC Climate Controlled Storage Facility
Chesapeake, Virginia

Our Climate Controlled Storage Facility was built in 2011, it is a 10,500 square foot structure specifically designed and equipped for controlled motor storage. When designing this facility EMC carefully considered the recommendations of EPRI, ANSI, and the needs of our customers and incorporated those recommendations into the facility design. Two of the most important issues we addressed were FME and corrosion.
